Zimpli Kids is turning its attention to the Russian, Latvian and Vietnamese markets as it continues its quest to cover the world in slime.
The firm has now secured distribution partners for its popular slime ranges in 50 countries across the globe, having last month signed off distribution in Panama, Thailand and Nigeria.
Zimpli Kids will look to replicate its current marketing method of social media dominance across the new targeted territories with a focused use of the pan-global media outlet, YouTube.
“We are currently focusing on looking for distributors in Russia, Latvia/Lithuania and Vietnam,” Jess Coy, head of marketing at Zimpli Kids told ToyNews exclusively.
“When a new distributor comes on board, we focus our efforts towards building brand awareness in their territory through what we do best, YouTube.”
Zimpli Kids’ YouTube campaign has accrued 4.5 billion views to date, affording the brand global awareness. This has been fuelled by YouTubers from the UK, North and South America, Australia, Europe and Asia creating demand for the range.
Coy added: “YouTube reach is expansive, making it the perfect platform to reach a huge proportion of your market within hours. We work closely with our current and prospective distributors to try to replicate some of our viral success to create demand for our products in their countries.”
