European Rubik's Cube Championship readies for debut this month

545 competitors are set to take place in the championship in Prague, from July 15th to 17th.

The European Rubik’s Cube Championship is set to kick off this month, which will see 545 competitors take part to win the crown.

Taking place from July 15th to 17th, the seventh championship will take place in Prague, Czech Republic.

Alexander Lau from Britain won the title back in 2014 with an average solve time of 8.02 seconds and a best single solve time of 6.98 seconds.

Plus, two-time World Champion Feliks Zemdegs of Australia, who holds the world record average solve time at 6.54 seconds, will be competing.
