A brand new Star Trek Catan board game is beaming down to retailers at the end of this month.

It's a new version of Klaus Teuber's incredibly popular multiplayer strategy game Settlers of Catan, which has sold over 25 million units worldwide since 1995.

Esdevium Games is launching Star Trek Catan exclusively in the UK, and Mayfair Games is publishing the product.

Players have to steer clear of Klingon ships and teleport characters such as Kirk, Spock, Sulu, Scott, Uhura or Chekov around the board. Each character has two special powers which the holder can use during their turn.

A statement from Esdevium read: "Expected to arrive towards the end of September, Star Trek Catan is ideal for family play and is a great game for enthusiasts of the property."

Esdevium is taking pre-orders for the game now. You can call 01420 593593 or email sales@esdeviumgames.com to stock it.
