From October 1st, companies will be able to enter their products for the ToyAwards at Spielwarenmesse 2015.

A panel of 11 judges will select products across four age group categories, based on children's development stages:

Baby & Infant (0-2 years)

Pre-school (3-5 years)

School Kids (6-10 years)

Teenager & Family (11+)

The submitted products must impress the panel of experts - which will consist of educationalists, market researchers, retailers and toy safety experts - across a number of criteria.

The judges will assess the toys on their originality, safety, fun factor, finishing and quality, coherence of the product concept and market potential, before nominating three products in each category.

The winners will be announced at the Spielwarenmesse 2015 opening ceremony on January 27th, 2015.

In 2014, 271 companies submitted a total of 491 products for the awards - more than ever before.
