English triumph at Rubiks championship
Dan Harris recorded the single fastest time of 10.59 seconds at the Rubik’s Speedcubing Championship in Budapest and pocketed a €1,000 prize.
The championships gave a boost to the brand, distributed by Drumond Park in the UK. Yu Nakajima won the 3x3x3 competition with an average time of 12.46 seconds and a prize of €5,000.
The championships were said to have been the last public appearance made by Cube inventor Professor Erno Rubik.
