Roland Earl is returning to the BTHA as director general, replacing David Hawtin.

Former deputy director general Earl left the trade body in July, after six year’s service, to join the National Children’s Bureau in a marketing and communications role.

He will be rejoining in time for Toy Fair, stepping up to the role of director general to replace David Hawtin, who is retiring.
