DronesDirect has launched what it calls 'the world's most lavish drone' - a 24-carat gold-plated DJI Phantom 4 costing £20,000.

The £20,000 package comes with the DJI Phantom 4 Gold Edition, a Phantom 4 remote controller, Phantom 4 Intelligent Flight Battery, mobile phone holder, two sets of propellers and propeller storage bag, charger and power cable, gimbal clamp, 16GB MicroSD card, Micro USB cable and carrying case.

“For those who want an exclusive one-off drone, the DJI Phantom 4 Gold Edition is perfect," said Tim Morley, business unit manager at DronesDirect.co.uk.

"It is the ultimate status symbol for the gadget-lover who wants something more bespoke. The impressive functionality allows them to survey their estate, supercar collection or explore off-the-radar territory whilst out sailing.”

The DJI Phantom 4 Gold Edition can reach heights of up to 100m, can be controlled from up to 2km away and can take 4K high definition photographs and videos.
