Over 15,000 children took part in the competition which was judged in November and saw a pre-school being presented with a cheque for £1000 and the whole Dream Town range whilst eight regional pre-schools received valuable prizes too.
Each setting was sent campaign packs which included Rose Petal Cottage activity sheets for each child plus educational posters for the nursery.
Marketing manager Lucy Wynn-Jones said: “This has been a very enjoyable and worthwhile competition. The brand lends itself perfectly to pre-school role-play fun and using the key features of the brand we were able to create some lovely educational activities for the children to take part in. Judging the competition was difficult as everyone did really well.”
Next year Worlds Apart will be adding to the Dream Town range, with a playhouse called Cherry Blossom Stores and together with other marketing and PR activities intend extend the pre-school campaign to even more children and nurseries.
