The build-up towards October’s Dream Toys media showcase has started in earnest with a new design agency on board, but no wholesale changes in the successful format or venue.
At a special meeting at a London hotel attended by over 30 suppliers, the TRA Dream Toys committee unveiled 2BP Design of Leicester as the design agency that will be charge with refreshing the presentation of the event.
Val Stedham chair of the committee, said: “We have reviewed every aspect of the project in the last 12 months and set out a programme to continue leading edge development for the next two years. Top of our agenda was to refresh the look of the event and continue to build the wow factor that ensures excitement for up to 200 media guests on the day. We invited several agencies to pitch and the competition was stiff. We brought expertise from amongst suppliers to the panel and were unanimous in our choice.
“Amanda Riddle and her new team at Grayling have also critically reviewed all the options with regard to print and presenting stories and pictures to the media and we are determined to stay up with the technology to make the very best available fast via our ftp site for the media and Dream Toys web-site for everyone.”
