DKL Wonderworld tree scheme a success

651 extra trees have been planted after Facebook 'like' and retweet campaign.

DKL has announced that the Wonderworld Tree Plus+ Project has been a success, with an extra 651 trees planted.

Wonderworld had pledged to plant one extra tree for every Facebook 'like' on DKL's Wonderworld Toys UK page, and for each retweet and share of the Eco House competition which was hosted on DKL's new blog.

The final count reached 651 and, on July 1st the Wonderworld team helped members of the local Thai community, school pupils and soldiers plant the new trees in a government protected forest.

In total, Wonderworld planted 1,436 new trees.
