DKL Marketing has been appointed as UK distributors of a new nursery range, Munchkin to the independent trade.

The latest range, bolstering the distributor's portfolio, is from the nursery company Munchkin Lindam.

The new line includes a collection of bath toys, baby teethers and Disney Baby feeding products, each designed to be fun for kids while practical for parents.

The collection will be fully supported by DKL's high profile media campaign and in-store support including a colourful FSDU.

Robert Mann, MD of Munchkin Lindam, said: "We are excited to have DKL represent us in the independent trade and make available our fabulous quality products to a wider audience.

"The Munchkin line 'it's the little things' aptly describes our new relationship from which we are expecting a significant opportunity for us both and the trade that supports the product line."

David Allan, sales and marketing director of DKL, added: "We are delighted to be appointed distributor of a great brand as Munchkin.

"The brand and the variety of high quality Bath toys, disney dining Sets and Teethers fits so well with our existing quality ranges giving our customers an even greater portfolio to choose from.

"I see so much opportunity for growth especially within bath toys and Disney Baby, this is the perfect time for us to take on Munchkin.

"DKL has seen fantastic growth and has great plans to further this growth in the future."

Buoyed by a TRA special recognition award this year and the continued success of its Hama Beads creative line, DKL is expecting further growth in 2007 with its Corolle dolls, Viking plastic toys and Wonderworld wood ranges. Ronnie Dungan speaks to MD Kai Hawaleschka about its steady progress?
