DKL enjoyed a visit from Princess Benedikte of Denmark at an exclusive Northampton event showcasing local businesses with a Danish flavour.

The princess showed a lot interest in the toys on DKL's stand, especially the Danish-made Hama bead range. She also liked the company's Corolle, Wonderworld, Miniland, Mic o Mic and Velcro Kids ranges.

Representing DKL was Lise Skeppstam, finance manager and daughter of the company’s owners Kai and Dorte Hawaleschka.

Skeppstam said: “It was great fun showing our wonderful range of products to such an honourable guest, who really showed an interest in the products and the company.”

DKL also welcomed other local dignitaries including the Mayor of Northampton and the local MP.
