DKL has added the Breyer Animal Creations line of horse toys and collectable model horses to its portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

The firm has been appointed the exclusive distributor for the territory by Reeves International.

DKL will be distributing the full Breyer range from its child-friendly Horse Play collections of Classics, Stablemates, Pony Gals and accessories, plus its collectable Traditional range.

The 2014 line includes new models, barns and craft activity sets including two fresh model horse and book sets from British equestrian Pippa Funnell, and a horse and book set based on Michael Morpurgo's War Horse.

In addition, British racing legend Frankel has now joined the Breyer stable in the Traditional 'portrait model' range.

"I am so pleased that DKL is going to distribute such a great brand as Breyer, its name is so trusted and fits so well with our other quality brands that we distribute," said Kai Hawaleschka, MD of DKL. "DKL is celebrating 25 years of distribution and this is a great start to our growth plans."

Tony Fleischmann, president of Reeves International, added: "At Breyer, we believe that there's something magical about girls and horses. And we have significantly expanded our horse play line for girls ages four to 12 years with great new model horses and accessories offered in a variety of retail price points.

"With DKL, we look forward to introducing more children than ever to the wonderful world of horses through Breyer."
