Open to all toys launched in the UK this year, the Toytalk Awards are judged by parents, carers and children, as well as Toytalk editor David Smith.
Smith commented: “We were delighted with the response to our first awards last year and this year will be even more competitive.”
Last year, the inaugural awards were attracted entries from companies including Spin Master, LeapFrog, Tomy, Mega Brands, Re:creation, Schleich, Flair, Jumbo, Haba, Mookie Toys, Dice Maestro, Crafty Kids, CornPack, Tactic Games and Kiddimoto.
The ToyTalk Awards are organised by Huckleberry Media, the team behind the consumer toy news website, ToyTalk.co.uk.
The results will be announced on Thursday, September 30th, when winner’s and highly commended badges will be awarded to the best new toys of the year.
