Date set for HK football clash

A date has been set for the fifth Hong Kong football match where the giants of the toy trade take on the HK Eleven at the Happy Valley Football Ground.

Thursday, 10th January 2008 is the date to remember.

The match which will kick-off at 6.30pm, drinks will also start to flow (free of charge) the moment the kick off commences right through to the evening close approximately 12.30am–1.00am.

Dinner will commence with a buffet consisting of a selection of starters, hot main courses and desserts with pre-dinner drinks being served at 8.30pm in the ballroom. The evening will conclude with a disco dance/or live band. The cost per ticket is £95 per head.

All donations will go to The Fence Club Charity, The last football match in 2006 generated over £16,000.

All players taking part must have a paid ticket. Anyone interested in playing needs to let Joe Kissane know by the 19th November 2007, as the event programmes will be going to print after this date, courtesy of Toymaster.

The booking/sponsorship form (GMTV, is again the main sponsor) needs to be returned to the Character Group by the 19th November 2007.
