Danish firm scoops Mattel deal

Danish firm signs global license agreement with Mattel to bring first quiz game to market.

Bizzerwizzer, which established itself in 2006, recently introduced the game of the same name into Germany, where it has been picked up by the toy giant.

Expected to be available in the UK, France and Scandinavia in 2008, the game contains 5,000 questions grouped into 20 categories and can be played by individuals or teams.

Jesper Bülow, general manager of Bezzerwizzer said: “The agreement with Mattel means that we will have a fantastic sales and marketing motor for Bezzerwizzer. In this way we can concentrate on the development of new quality products.”



Flair scoops Aardman deal

Flair has signed a licensing deal with Aardman Animations to produce a range of creative play sets based on the firm's well-known character line-up.


Mattel cements Turner deal

Turner’s Cartoon Network has signed a worldwide licensing deal with Mattel to produce action figures, puzzles and other toys based on its children's TV shows.


Mattel forges adidas deal

Mattel is boosting its brand recognition, signing a licensing partnership with adidas to produce a new collection of apparel, accessories and footwear for My Scene, Hot Wheels and Fisher-Price brands.


Playmates third party deal for Mattel

A year after it announced it would be looking to work with third parties on UK and European distribution opportunities, Mattel UK has signed a deal to distribute Amazing Lexie on behalf of Playmates.
