The results of the Dad’s Choice Awards 2014 have been announced.

A team of Super Dad Testers evaluated each entry on their creativity, fun factor, value for money and whether they lived up to the hype on the box.

“We’ve been overwhelmed this year with the fantastic feedback from our Super Dad Testers," said David Ross, founder of Dad’s Choice Awards.

"When you look through the list of winners, highly commended and commended its fantastic mix of timeless classics and new innovations that make it into the final awards. Every winner should feel proud to have made it through the rigorous testing and tough critics – the dads and of course their children.

"We’ve had everything from tech toys, board games, superb action toys to classic cars and models. Apps and educational toys were very popular and reflect how many children have tablets and phones. We appreciate all the manufacturers who entered and hope those who’ve won will join us in celebrating their success. Hopefully it will inspire other Dads who are struggling for inspiration for Christmas day."
