Children can play paint ball games, race cars and even pamper a kitten, all with their Crocs shoes thanks to new Jibbitz charms from Zappar.

The charms use augmented reality to transform the shoe into an 'interactive experience'.

The range of four different interactive charm packs for boys and girls allows users to take part in a paint ball tank game with ‘Battlefield’, pamper a cute kitten with ‘Pet Salon’, race Benny with ‘Racing Car’ or take customised photos in ‘Fairy Land’.

“Crocs is a great partner to showcase Zappar content in new and fun ways," said Caspar Thykier, founder and CEO at Zappar.

"This ground-breaking new range of Jibbitz is an excellent example of the ways in which children’s charms are becoming more interactive. Add a bit of magic to your shoes by turning them into a game, whenever and wherever.”

Matt Lafone, sr. director of global licensing, Jibbitz, and children's footwear at Crocs added: “We’re always looking for new ways to create engaging moments for children, and Zappar has allowed us to do exactly that. By providing zappable content to a range of our popular shoe charms, we take the excitement levels up a notch and provide an instant ‘wow’ for children and parents alike.”

The Jibbitz charms are available now in both the UK and the US through Crocs stores and Crocs online, priced at £6.99.
