After months of product testing, the results have now been announced and published in the latest issue of Creative Steps magazine.

With double the entries from 2009, the Creative Play Awards are designed specifically to recognise excellence in creative play products, kits and resources.

Each product was tested by three independent childcare professionals, such as childminders, nursery practitioners and primary school teachers. The results recognise the best products available to enhance creative development in young children.

Dawn Hopley, editor of Creative Steps commented: “We are delighted with the number of companies who entered products this year, proving that these awards are becoming a desired addition to the creative play sector.

“The quality of entries was again extremely high, recognizing the importance the toy industry places on creative products.”
