Corgi has released an exclusive limited edition collection of commemorative die cast souvenirs for the marriage of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Corgi will be releasing three items presented in a William and Kate gift box, which will include a numbered limited edition certificate.

The first item is a 1:36 scale Austin Mini, which features a traditional union jack flag design on the roof and a London Road sign with William & Kate printed on it. There are 5,000 limited edition pieces available worldwide.

The 24 carat Gold Plated Ford Model T is an evergreen model for collectors of Corgi. The model features an image of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton with their names intertwined on the side.

There are 2,011 models available of the item, which also includes 29th April 2011 along the top.

With just 5,000 available, the three piece set consists of a Bullnose Van, a Bristol Lodekka double decker bus and a 1:43 scale Austin Mini. The liveries combine the lettering, imagery and commemorative text.

Martyn Weaver, Corgi marketing manager, commented “The royal wedding will be an exciting day for everyone and what better way to remember this special occasion than with a model by a British, iconic brand.

"We wanted to create an exclusive collection of heritage models to coincide with the historic day.”
