The worldwide agreement will allow the firm to launch core collectibles and other product lines based on prop and ship replicas from the forthcoming movie.
The deal also means the products can include electronic and sound components and be manufactured in varying sizes and formats.
Michael Cookson, the firm’s CEO said: "We have continued to work with many partners in renewing licenses for brands that we believe are core to our marketplace.
“Star Trek is a license that has had great resonance with our consumers, and we expect that the new movie will bring a whole new wave of Star Trek enthusiasts.”
“The marketplace is excited with the forthcoming movie and our range will mirror that excitement, with releases planned for 2008," Cookson said.
The agreement runs through to 2010.
