McFarlane Toys

Those that weren't lucky enough to be in sunny Las Vegas last week experiencing Licensing Expo may have missed the news that prolific toymaker McFarlane Toys will be supporting the new CBS Star Trek series with a slate of new figures, role play weapons and accessories. McFarlane Toys will also create merchandise spanning the entire Star Trek universe, ranging from Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation to the feature films.

Funko

Funko has bolstered its various lines with a new raft of licenses, starting with one of the most popular Funko lines - Game of Thrones. The new GoT figures are launching ahead of the seventh season's debut in July and include such favourites as Jon Snow (King of the North edition), grown-up Bran Stark and, ToyNews favourite, Tormund Giantsbane.

Elsewhere, the firm has confirmed new Marvel figurines including some obscure designs based on the Iron Spider, Superior Spider-Mana and Trickmaster. In addition the firm have also recently announced new figures based on Five Nights at Freddy's, Kingsman and Dragonball Z.
