There are six new Puffles in total – three with hats and three with long hairstyles.

As with the original line of Puffles, the toys come with a unique code that can be exchanged for virtual goods in the virtual world.

This time, the virtual versions of the hats and hairstyles can not be purchased online and are only available to owners of the new plush Puffles.

In response to player feedback Club Penguin is also introducing several new features online – adding new cosmetic items like hats and clothing and new Puffle ‘emotes’ (actions and animations such as dancing).

Disney has refreshed the Club Penguin store with new fashion items.

Disney has said the new plush toys were added in response to the “high demand” for Club Penguin merchandise, which already includes books, toys and games.

So far this year 25 million Puffles have been adopted on the Club Penguin website.
