UK distributor, Click Distribution, is expanding its business to include the design and manufacture of fashion accessories and jewellery.

Known in the industry as a distributor of toys and collectables, the firm also has experience distributing a wide range of licensed accessories for properties including Frozen, Despicable Me and Shopkins.

Marking its entry into the new sector, Click has appointed Yan Chan to the newly created role of general manager, Far East manufacturing and sourcing.

In addition, Diane McSweeney has been appointed as head of product design and will be responsible for designing all of the company’s licensed accessories and jewellery.

“It is an incredibly exciting time for the business,”said Mark Hillier, CEO at Click Distribution (UK) Ltd.

“As a distributor of accessories for many years we noticed that the departure of several companies in this space had created a gap in the market for a high quality manufacturer of jewellery and accessories. We strongly believe that we have the passion and contacts to harness this opportunity and make it a success.”

Following the news, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products is the first licensor to appoint Click to develop a line of accessories for pre-school brands PAW Patrol and Shimmer and Shine.

New products will include hair accessories, jewellery, gift sets and key chains.
