Circa introduces viral game spin-off

Firm launches the viral of international board game, About Time as part of its marketing activity.

Timeblast is from Circa Games' creative team, led by Michele Rosaus, with a script by TV historian Justin Pollard, quiz writer for BBC's Q1 adn the Daily Telegraph.

The viral game is being launched through Facebook, Twitter and other social media, bringing the unique qualities of the About Time game into the viral space.

Players will try to guess the year of major cultural events in order to win Timecash - which gives discounts on About Time games.

The questions are all exclusive to Timeblast adn will be featured in the upcoming Friends and Family edition of the game, due for launch later this year.

Circa Games director, Matt Gould, said: "We are really proud and excited with the gorgeous quality of the graphics and script of Timeblast.

"About Time is a board game, but we want to bring the concept to as many people as possible and Timeblast is a great way to do it."

Creative derector, Michele Rosaus added: "The game play is easy and fun, we hope people will enjoy the great graphics, pop cultural questions, amusing commentary from the characters and the exciting Duel mechanism, giving users the chance to win unique discounts on About Time products."
