China exports rise

The first ten months of 2007 saw the country?s toy exports increase by 20 per cent.

More than $7 billion worth of products were shipped world wide between January and October last year, despite millions of defective products being recalled from Europe and the US.

Exports to the US rose by 13.3 per cent alone.

A growth rate of just six per cent was recorded for the same period in 2006.
