Chad Valley has teamed with TV presenter, Jenni Falconer to launch a new initiative to inspire parents with play ideas throughout the summer holidays.

Called the Playtime Pocketbook, the guide offers 100 playtime tips, devised by parents, for parents.

Fronted by the celebrity mum, Falconer, the guide provides tips, knowledgeable advice and tricks all shared over social media throughout Chad Valley’s #100daysofplay campaign.

The campaign was devised by the toy firm when results of a study revealed that while the average family spends over two and a half hours a day playing with their kids, parents are finding it increasingly challenging to produce new forms of entertainment.

“As a parent there’s nothing more rewarding than taking time out to play with your little ones, and the Playtime Pocketbook is the perfect inspiration,” said Falconer.

“It has been a joy to work with Chad Valley and introduce the Playtime Pocketbook. It gathers some of the best ideas parents have been sharing through #100daysofplay and provides them with the support they need to entertain their children.”

Families across the UK can still contribute their play ideas by sharing photos or tips on Twitter or the Chad Valley Facebook page using #100daysofplay.

The Playtime Pocketbook can be read online at www.argos.co.uk/chadvalley.
