Carte Blanche founder goes 'back to the floor'

Stephen Haines picks up that sales phone, heads to the warehouse and even writes the press release.

The founder of greetings cards, toys and gifts specialist Carte Blanche has gone 'back to the floor'.

Stephen Haines worked alongside his staff for a two-day period. Like the popular TV show Back to the Floor, he worked at reception, customer services, credit control, sales support and in the warehouse. 

He even wrote the press release,which we've left unedited for impact below (can you tell?).

PRESS RELEASE – For Immediate publication

As part of the 25th year Anniversary celebrations, Stephen Haines went " back to the floor" to work alongside his staff in all departments for a two day period.

From reception, to customer services, to credit control, sales support and warehouse Stephen had a catch up on all departments. 

Stephen founded Carte Blanche Greetings back in 1987 with just 12 greetings cards. 25 years on, the company has enjoyed tremendous success and is now an international creator, distributor and licensor of character branded products including greeting cards, toys, gifts, homeward and apparel.

" it's been an amazing journey" said Stephen. " I can't believe it's been 25 years since it all began." going back to the floor was a real eye opener. It was great to re live some amazing memories from the past and also to get more up to speed with the technology that exists within the company" the last year has been one of the toughest of all 25 but we are in great shape to face the new year and beyond"
