Cabbage Patch Kids’ property owner Original Appalachian Artworks has joined with master toy licensee Play Along and licensing agent 4Kids Entertainment to bring about new products and partnerships in celebration of the Cabbage Patch Kids 25th anniversary.
Play Along, a division of Jakks Pacific, together with US firm, Celebration Foods and the Carvel brand, will launch the Fun to Feed Baby, which licks the Carvel ice cream and comes with its own name, birth certificate, adoption papers and face washer. It is expected to retail in the US for $22.99.
Launching this autumn will be The Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids, which will replica the original 1983 Kids. The new products will feature a 25th Anniversary signature of the creator Xavier Roberts and commemorative, silver stamped anniversary birth certificates and adoption papers. The Anniversary CPK are expected to retail for $29.99.
