Bumpeez bounce into France and Benelux

New territories will spearhead Bumpeez push into the rest of Europe; Marketing campaign detailed.

Pocket money toys specialist Glow Europe has secured a string of retail partnerships for Bumpeez in France and Benelux.

Set to launch in France on August 24th, confirmed retailers include Toys R Us, Auchan, Carrefour, Cora, E LeClerq, King Jouet and Geant Casino.

On board in Benelux for a September 1st release date are Blokker, Marskramer, Bart Smit and Intertoys. Other grocers and newsagents are signed up in both of the territories, too.

Glow Europe brand manager, Chris Clover said: “Bumpeez were an instant success when they launched in the UK last year and went on to become the bestselling collectable at its price point.

“France and Benelux will spearhead the roll out of Bumpeez across Europe as we look to replicate its success in new markets.”

To drive awareness for the bouncing toys Glow Europe has invested in a heavyweight above the line campaign including national television advertising on Nickelodeon and Disney XD for Benelux and in France TF1, Cartoon Network, Gulli, Boomerang and Disney XD. Also taking place in both territories will be print, online and national PR activity, as well as magazine cover-mounts and a Golden Bumpee competition.
