Bullish Bear hails Thomas

Golden Bear's Talking Thomas has become the number one Thomas and Friends range, according to the firm.

Golden Bear’s successful Talking Thomas & Friends range has become the number one selling Thomas & Friends product in the UK market says the firm.

It is also the number one product in the pre-school vehicle category and number three in the top pre-school toys overall.

John Hales, Chairman of Golden Bear commented: “Thomas has long been a very important brand for Golden Bear and with a sales increase in 2007 of 66%, the products just keep getting better and better. We will be introducing a number of exciting new lines for 2008 and we are also delighted to announce the renewal of our Thomas & Friends license with Hit Entertainment.”

Jon Owen, Vice President Consumer Products EMEA HIT Entertainment added, “We are delighted with the increase in sales from Golden Bear’s highly successful product range and look forward to the launch of more exciting new products in 2008.”

Golden Bear will also launch an extensive spring TV advertising campaign to support the Talking Thomas & Friends range which retails under £10.
