BTHA reveals Max-It winners

The BTHA has handed out this year’s Max-It awards with Hasbro, Flair, Mattel  and Fiesta Crafts among the winners.

Best new UK toy design was won by Matchbox Pop Up Adventures by Evolve NPD; Best new non-UK toy design was Butterscotch Pony from Hasbro; Best new UK game design was Battleship Torpedo Attack, also from Hasbro; Best new UK hobby design was won by Paper FX Dream Weaver from Flair; Best new non-UK hobby design was Puzzleball by Ravensburger.

Best marketing or PR campaign (for a company with turnover over £5 million) was Mattel’s TMX Elmo while the Best marketing or PR campaign (for a company with a turnover under £5 million) was the Five-a-day wallchart from Fiesta Crafts/Evolution PR

Best promising new talent was James Wing from Vivid Imaginations and their were critics choice awards for Doodle Doug from Vivid and Fiesta’s Five a Day Wallchart.

"Individuals and teams from the best large and small enterprises work throughout the year to bring their talents to bear. Today the very best are rewarded through these awards," said BTHA chairman Kevin Jones.
