Bananagrams is both an Official Gift Partner and Official After Party Supporter to the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards in 2015.

Following a successful partnership with BAFTA around its British Academy Children’s Awards last year - which will continue throughout 2015 - Bananagrams will have a presence at the Official After Party to the Television Awards, with 1,300 guests.

The Party will be held at Grosvenor House, London, on Sunday, May 10th, directly after the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards, which takes place at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

BAFTA presents its nominees with an exclusive Gift Bag, a collection of pieces donated by its Official Television Awards’ Partners. For the first time, the Nominee Gift Bag will contain a Bananagrams game, alongside coveted items from brands such as CARAT, Fortnum & Mason and Champagne Taittinger.

“We were thrilled to create a partnership with BAFTA in 2014 and we are delighted to see this relationship growing even stronger with our involvement this year with the Television Awards,” said Rena Nathanson, Top Banana at Bananagrams.

“We know that Bananagrams is popular with stars of stage and screen who enjoy playing between takes and during downtime - this has happened very organically for the brand, creating authentic fans and relationships, and we’ve even seen the game make the leap from backstage to small screen after it appeared in an episode of ‘Catastrophe’ earlier this year. Therefore, it’s a very natural fit to be involved with such an esteemed event celebrating the country’s television talent. The game lends itself well to the After Party atmosphere and it’s a real coup to be able to gift the VIP guests directly.”

BAFTA’s director of awards, Emma Baehr, said: “It is great to be working with Bananagrams again following the success of our partnership at the Children’s Awards last November and together we look forward to celebrating the very best of television on Sunday, May 10th.”
