Collectable range of marble-like characters Bomtanka is gaining traction among independent retailers, as two new stores take up the emerging line.

Earlier this year, the range entered a trial run with family-run toy giant, The Entertainer on a ‘see how it goes basis.’

And for the inventor of the range of mix and match characters, John Cattermole, things appear to be going well, as the range picks up pace across the UK.

WigWam in Brighton and Almar of Tring are the latest indie toy retailers to trial the collection, meanwhile Cattermole is busy plugging his invention with local schools while offering children and schools lessons in product design.

“The toys are in the schools before I visit, and I hear the year six kids love them,” Cattermole told ToyNews.
