Board Game Club, the brainchild of Playtime PR's Lesley Singleton and Toyology's Peter Jenkinson, enjoyed a successful debut event when it launched earlier this week.

Held at Brew Dog in Shoreditch, the night saw creatives, journalists and board game fans take on a range of different games including Cards Against Humanity, Linkee and Bananagrams.

"The feedback has been fantastic," Singleton told ToyNews.

"'This should be a weekly feature' is probably one of my favourite tweets. The hashtag worked well and people really got into things.

"Certain games seemed to work better than others but I really do think we had something for everyone - even Mastermind."

If you want to be on the guest list for the next Board Game Club, or think one of your games would be a great addition to the night, contact BoardGameClub@PlaytimePR.com.
