Bladez partners with Fenwick & Bentalls for festive concession

Shoppers at Bentalls Kingston will be met with an advent calendar themed window showcasing Bladez' Autumn range.

Bladez Toys has partnered withFenwick & Bentalls Stores for a festive promotion which will see shoppers arriving at Bentalls Kingston this festive season will be met by an advent calendar themed Christmas window showcasing the best of the Bladez Toyz product range for Autumn 2017.

From Hot Wheels Drone Racerz and Star Wars to Despicable Me 3 and Thomas & Friends, Bladez' diverse range will be on display behind the advent doors, and customers will be able to see the products demonstrated in a prime position in the Bentalls toy department as in-store theatre ramps up before Christmas.

As well as Bentalls Kingston, Bladez is currently running concession space at Fenwick Brent Cross, Bracknell and Newcastle where Hot Wheels branded demonstration bowls can be found in key locations within the toy departments. 

Dedicated Bladez demonstrators have been introducing customers to the new Hot Wheels Drone Racerz Drone & Vehicle Sets and impressing them with flying and racing skills, as well as whizzing a selection of radio control inflatable characters around the department floor to add to the festive fun. In recent weeks, crowds have also been entertained at the Christmas Shopping Events in association with The Telegraph, whilst this week focus turns to the late-night Gala Shopping events to further drive sales in the run-up to Christmas.

“Our demo bowls have been very impactful and it’s amazing to witness the reaction of customers, especially how children’s faces light up when they see our radio control toys in action," commented Beth Jobber, key account manager at Bladez, who organised the concession activity with Fenwick.

"We have great visibility in-store so this has been an incredibly useful activity to see how much children are wowed by Drone Racerz and how excited they are to play with the Minions or Star Wars inflatables. We are also receiving excellent feedback from parents who are appreciating the more personal shopping experience, the value of our toys and the expert advice we are offering.”
