The Big Play Day live toy playtesting and feedback event went down a storm last week.

Organiser and industry veteran Steeve Reece - who is also a ToyNews contributor - said the feedback was "overwhelmingly positive".

Around 50 children played with arond 15 products from companies including Vivid, Esdevium and Imagination Games at the first Big Play Day.

"Feedback from last week has been overwhelmingly positive," said Reece.

"I've conducted more playtesting sessions than I care to remember, and never had a single one which failed to deliver really good consumer insight. Last week seems to have worked just as well for the companies who attended."

One of the companies in attendance said: "It was a really worthwhile experience and the kids were brilliant."
