Some 117 exhibitors are now confirmed: a 40 per cent increase on the same time last year.

Brand Licensing Europe is the only pan-European event dedicated to licensing and brand extension. This year’s event takes place from October 2nd-3rd at Olympia’s Grand Hall in London. Visitors can register now at www.brandlicensingeurope.com for a complimentary two-day pass.

All five companies join an exhibitor line up that includes some of the biggest names in film and broadcast - BBC Worldwide, HIT Entertainment, Granada Ventures, Jetix Consumer Products and Twentieth Century Fox – as well as character and brand agents The Beanstalk Group, Global Brands Group, Licensing Management International and Start Licensing; and new exhibitors Lego, Brandsauce, Bang On The Door, Milan Collection, Sheepworld, Christies Images and Royal Horticultural Society Enterprises Limited.

"The number and high calibre of licensors signing up to exhibit at Brand Licensing Europe 2007 reflects its position as the leading event for licensing and brand extension in Europe," said event director Jessica Blue.

"Last year’s show was a huge success, with increased overall visitor numbers, retail visitors up 62 per cent and European visitors up 12 per cent on 2005: the result of an intensive and refined marketing campaign. We’re delighted to announce that our marketing campaign has been recognised by the wider events industry as both highly successful and innovative and has been short listed in the Best Marketing Campaign category alongside The Motor Show and Internet World at the new Exhibition News Awards."
