Big names in for Brand Licensing Europe show

Brand Licensing Europe organiser Advanstar is reporting a 40 per cent increase in the number of exhibitors so far signed up, with 4Kids Entertainment, Disney Consumer Products, Chapman Entertainment, Entertainment Rights and Sony Pictures Entertainment among the 32 companies to confirm attendance since February 1st.

Some 117 exhibitors are now confirmed: a 40 per cent increase on the same time last year.

Brand Licensing Europe is the only pan-European event dedicated to licensing and brand extension. This year’s event takes place from October 2nd-3rd at Olympia’s Grand Hall in London. Visitors can register now at for a complimentary two-day pass.

All five companies join an exhibitor line up that includes some of the biggest names in film and broadcast - BBC Worldwide, HIT Entertainment, Granada Ventures, Jetix Consumer Products and Twentieth Century Fox – as well as character and brand agents The Beanstalk Group, Global Brands Group, Licensing Management International and Start Licensing; and new exhibitors Lego, Brandsauce, Bang On The Door, Milan Collection, Sheepworld, Christies Images and Royal Horticultural Society Enterprises Limited.

"Last year’s show was a huge success, with increased overall visitor numbers, retail visitors up 62 per cent and European visitors up 12 per cent on 2005: the result of an intensive and refined marketing campaign. Support grows for Brand Licensing Europe

Almost 100 companies, including many first time exhibitors, have already signed up for this year's Brand Licensing Europe show - an increase of 43 per cent on this time last year according to organisers Advanstar.

7,244 retailers, licensees and sales promotion professionals from 69 countries attended the 2013 show, making it the biggest and most successful in its 15 year history.
