Berg Toys has acquired the US import organisation of Frank Bewersdorff.

Berg sees the merger as a chance to exploit the American growth potential for pedal go-karts, which are a relatively unknown product in the territory. The firm says it will also be able to implement product developments earlier and react quicker to the American market.

Speaking about the acquisition, owner and founder Henk van den Berg, said: “The merger of the two companies will ensure that Berg Toys is even better positioned to serve the American market.

“Both parties are delighted with this development. Frank Bewersdorff will continue to work for the company, with products which are close to his heart.”

Operating from the Netherlands, Berg currently operates in 40 countries worldwide and holds licences for the autos brands Jeep, New Holland and Ferrari.
