Bedlam flys the flag for UK manufacturing

Bedlam Puzzles is going against the trend for Far East manufacturing relocation, announcing that it is to open up a UK production facility.

The firm will also be making all its future cubes from recycled materials working with an established moulding company based in Wiltshire, with the first British-made cubes available by Easter.

Bedlam Puzzles MD Danny Bamping said: "When you consider the processes and travelling involved from source to the end-user for each product - the costs involved - especially to the environment, are considerable and measurable.

"The Bedlam Cube is a British invention, a British brand and company, so we are now focused on providing all of our retail and promotional clients in the whole of Europe, directly with products manufactured in Britain.

"This is an exciting time for the company and we are looking forward to being able to create jobs, exporting from Britain and supplying our increased client list with a product with 'Made In Wiltshire, England' and from recycled materials on the bottom label."
