Bábógbaby, the language-teaching teddy bear from Ireland, is getting its own pre-school TV series.
BB and Bella will consist of ten five-minute episodes. It will launch on Irish language channel TG4 in the summer. Bábógbaby creator Adrian Devane has also told ToyNews that BBC Alba also hopes to broadcast it in Gaelic.
The show targets the pre-school market, specifically babies, toddlers and children aged from six months to five years old.
“It is great to see BB bear come alive on the screen,” said Devane.
“It would also be great to see it on S4C in Welsh and in English somewhere down the line too. It’s a 2D animation and has a great talented award-winning team behind it.”
Other BB and Bella merchandise is in production, including fashion accessories, backpacks, as well as back-to-school items.
Bábógbaby just launched its English-speaking bears.
“Our French, German, Italian and Spanish bears are also going into production in April, so it really is a big year for us,” Devane added.
