Bachmann Europe acquires Pocketbond and Toyway brands

Bachmann Europe has completed the acquisition of the Pocketbond and Toyway brands, along with both of their distributed ranges.

Pocketbond manufacture the Classix range of 1/76th scale die-cast vehicles, Conflix wargaming products, Emhar plastic construction kits and figures, as well as Nautix radio controlled ships and more.

Toyware produces a range of animals, vehicles, figures, gliders, wooden toys and more.

David Haarhaus from Bachmann, said: “The acquisition of Pocketbond and Toyway by Bachmann Europe Plc enables us to build on the success that both companies have enjoyed over the last three decades.

“It is clear that all brands within this comprehensive portfolio of model and hobby products will benefit our established markets and complement our core product base in the model railway, die-cast vehicles and model soldier sectors.”

In addition, Bachmann Europe has revealed that Neil Fraser will be joining the firm. Fraser previously was part of the management team that worked with the late Philip Brook, who helped establish products from several manufacturers including Trumpeter, AFV Club and Pegasus.
