The Autumn Fair International’s Children’s Gifts, Toys and Gadgets sector has been rebranded this year.

The show’s organisers say the refresh will highlight the wider variety of products on display. Over 100 companies will have a presence in the toys section in hall five, including almost 20 new exhibitors.

Plus, the toys and games sector will have more space this year compared to 2011. It will located alongside the gifts and hobby, arts and crafts areas in hall five.

Product categories will include plush toys, pocket money ranges, gadgets, handcrafted toys as well as tablets and more, with preview ranges on display ahead of spring/summer 2013.

The show kicks off on September 2nd at the NEC in Birmingham and will run until September 5th. Volume Hall opens one day early on September 1st.

The event is free to the trade if attendees register in advance at Some 60,000 products are expected to be launched at the show across nine sectors, including kitchen, fashion jewellery and home interiors.

Event director Greg Saint said: “In this part of Autumn Fair you’ll be able to find everything for children all in one place, with the aim of attracting both mainstream toy retailers and gift shops to this sector of the show.

“Anything you could think of giving to a child as a gift will be here in hall five. By rebranding the sector we’ve given a more clearly defined home to exhibitors who see themselves primarily as giftware suppliers, with an emphasis on the children’s market sector.

“Our core Toy offering is still there. We’ve also had a lot more interest from German brands for this year’s show, along with companies that were unable to exhibit at Spring Fair 2012. Autumn Fair has a strong reputation as an order-taking show and the cross-over buying opportunities are immense.”

Toys and gift companies attending include Ark DIY Products Ltd, Bigjigs Toys Ltd, Card-It, Carddies Ltd, Casdon PLC, Creative 7, Destination Board Games, Eduk8 Worldwide, Bladez Toyz, Fashion UK, Fulanitos UK, I Wholesales, Indoor Fireworks Ltd, JK Worldwide Ltd, London Europe, NICI presented by Great Gizmos, Orange Elephant, Paper Projects Ltd, Q Gifts Ltd, Sega Amusements Europe, Splash Brands GmbH, The Glorious Import, Wholesale Ltd, The Source Wholesale Ltd and Lithuanian brand Uzu Ltd.
