At a fun day held at the hospice, children had their picture taken with the life-sized characters and were given free toys.

Aurora World supports Naomi House and jacksplace, hospices, which provide support to children and young adults with life-limiting conditions across the central south of England.

It costs an estimated £5 million a year to provide services to families, including respite, end of life care, emergency and bereavement support. 90 per cent of the charity’s total income generated is donated by local people and businesses.

Aurora World is planning more fundraising activitiy to raise money for the hospices, including challenge events, static bike rides and an It’s a Knockout competition.

Please visit the Naomi House website for more information on the charity.
