Asobi signs Uncle Goose range

Eco-friendly toy company has added the quality alphabet block range to its growing portfolio.

Asobi will stock a variety of the wooden block sets, including nursery rhymes, pictures and numbers. The sets cater for 16 different languages, with Braille and sign language sets available.

The toys are handcrafted by a family run company based in Michigan, with 99 per cent of materials sourced from the local area. The company employs environmentally sound manufacturing techniques and uses locally grown and harvested basswood from sustainable forests.

Established in 1983, Asobi describe Uncle Goose as the “gold standard” for alphabet blocks and similar wooden toys.

Company director, Thierry Bourret, said: “This type of product will not only be played with time and time again, it will be kept for generations. It’s fantastic to have gifts within our range that we know will be treasured.”

The alphabet set has a guide price of £39.95, with prices starting at around £12.95
