The kits contain safe, heat resistant silicone which is cool to the touch when heated and brightly coloured tools, as well as a range of recipes.
The creators designed the cooking sets with the aim of encouraging families to spend time together, have fun in the kitchen and pass on their own tips and recipes to their children.
Everything in the kits can be used for role-play and real play, meaning that younger children can play restaurants and kitchens unsupervised.
Asobi director, Thierry Bourret, commented: “We think this range will be extremely popular because of the extensive range of practical cooking sets available – as well as cupcake and cookie sets children can explore other tastes and textures – we expect the rice set with bowl, chopsticks, microwave rice cooker and recipe cards to be popular.”
Asobi is set for a strong year with many new additions to its portfolio, further extending the toy and gift offering.
The recent addition of Uncle Goose wooden block has received a positive reception and further new product announcements are set to come.
