Asobi is expanding the popular Sonny Angel range of collectable figurines with the new Flowers series.

The Flowers are twelve characters, each with different names and themed hats.

The Sonny Angels collection is made up of over 100 different 10 centimetre high figurines, each sold in blind boxes. Some of the rarer figurines in the range have been known to sell on eBay for close to £1,000 each.

“I am so pleased with the reaction the UK toy market has had to Sonny Angel," said Asobi owner and founder Thierry Bourret.

"It is a very unusual concept and I didn’t know whether the fact that the dolls are anatomically correct may have put some retailers off, but consumers in Britain have truly embraced the Sonny Angel craze and they now have a loyal following.

"Retailers who have taken on the brand continue to stock these collectables as they have been so popular in their stores. People are intrigued by Sonny Angel and as the brand continues to grow, so will its following.

"I think the Flower Series is a great addition and I look forward to hearing the opinions of the collectors."
