Arklu is expanding the international reach of its Lottie doll range following a successful toy fair season.
The firm signed up new distribution partners at Nuremberg Toy Fair, and from June the range will be available in 30 countries.
"We’ve had a really excellent toy fair season," Arklu director Lucie Follett told ToyNews.
"We had a pretty full-on start to 2014; in Hong Kong we had initial discussions with potential new distributors, and we followed that up in Nuremberg by signing up a further 14 countries.
"From June, Lottie will be available in 30 countries, with South America and Japan being the only major markets yet to get distribution.
Arklu plans to sign up more partners throughout the year and is promising a range of new product innovations.
Follett continued: "Our development this year contains a number of really strong innovations; we also have some really exciting partnerships lined up too.
"Most importantly, we hope that our development hits the right buttons with both parents, in terms of providing a reasonably priced, aspirational and value-driven doll alternative, but most importantly that it appeals to kids in terms of providing fun, educational and imaginative play.
"We hope that retailers will be encouraged by the press coverage for the new range, also for the fact that we will also be continuing to build on our existing retailer promotional materials, both for in-store and online."
