Safe Dreams has announced the official consumer launch of Hoppy and Patch - a pair of plush toys that promise to be the safest toys around.

The cuddly toys have been developed with safety and breathability in mind and are made from Airmesh technology.

They are stuffed with Hollowfibre, a hypoallergenic filling which has been air pumped into each fibre during the spinning process, helping to minimise the risk of suffocation.

Inventor Louise Guinda said: "There is nothing cuter than your little one falling in love with ‘teddy’ and so adorable when they want their new friend to be tucked up next to them at bedtime. But it was exactly this inevitable attachment that inspired me to develop the range. For any parent worried about leaving soft toys in the cot with their baby, these new toys are the answer."

At an RRP of £14.99 Hoppy and Patch are currently selling in Jojo Manam Bebe.
