Creative Toy Company has significantly bolstered its team with the appointment of Andrew Welch as its new head of marketing.

Welch (pictured) has been charged with leading the marketing activity for the SoccerStarz brand.

He brings over ten years experience in the toy industry to the firm, having most recently worked at VTech looking after InnoTab, Kidizoom and pre-school brands.

Prior to this, Welch was senior brand manager at Bandai, looking after the marketing activity for Power Rangers and Ben 10. He also gained experience at Flair and Vivid.

"It's an exciting time to join the Creative Toys team," Welch commented. "With the euphoria surrounding the World Cup, SoccerStarz has seen a strong uplift in sales across our distribution channels. There are some great plans in place for SoccerStarz and Creative Toys Company for the future."
